Coaches are allowed to help line-up kids for divisions where you feel it is needed. Most of the time we see this isn Tiny, certain Mini teams, and Special needs divisions. Coaches are not allowed to be on the stage/performance floor for any other divisions, with the exception of spotting routines. Most of our coaches stand in the area directly in front of the stage in front of the preferred seating area.
Typically, No. Most venues do not allow food or beverage to be brought into the venue. All bags are subject to check. Please check with the venue for their specific guidelines.
Athletic hires some of the most qualified judges from across the country to judge all of our events. Our judges are trained on all elements of both cheer and dance and many of them judge for us throughout the season. Our judges include former cheerleaders, dancers, coaches, choreographers, and many well respected gym and studio owners. Since Athletic uses the most up to date computerized scoring system you can rest assured that the judging is consistent.
We encourage all of the fans to show support for their teams. Signs and noisemakers are perfectly fine as long as they are placed where they will not impede anyone’s view. Helium balloons are generally not allowed in the arena and convention centers. Non-helium balloons are generally acceptable. You many want to check with the actual arena or convention center for their specific rules regarding display of balloons and signs.
We do permit photography and video taping at all of our events. You may also purchase professionally shot video and photographs from our vendors at the event. We encourage all of our participants to visit Ultimate Photography (UEP) and our Video vendor Eight Count Video Pro to purchase professional photography and video.
Parking will vary from event to event. Some cities charge and some do not. The best advice is for you to contact the arena or convention center or visit their website for directions and parking locations. There is a link to the venue’s website on each event page.
No At Athletic we do VIP seating directly in front of the stage. This area is reserved for all fans of the team that is on the competition floor. By doing this it will allow the fans to not have to sit at the arena all day and wait on your team’s performance. We will staff members controlling this area.
Our pricing will vary from a one day to a two day event. At our one day events the admission fee is $10 for an adult pass and $5 for children. For our 2 day events we offer the pricing as follows: Adults pay $15 per day. Children from ages 5-10 pay $10 per day. Kids under 5 are free. You can also purchase a 2 day pass for $25 for adults and $20 for children.
