Columbus, OH

Columbus Convention Center

Columbus is home to one of the original Athletic Championships events 10 years ago.  Over the years we have continued to see this event explode in popularity, and it continues to be one of the premier cheer and dance events across the country.  In addition to the extra special touches that Athletic Championships offers at our Platinum Events we will also will be awarding $10,000 in Cash prizes at this event!  We will be awarding $6000 to the highest scoring team, $2000 to the highest scoring large program, and $2000 to the highest scoring small program!

This season we will also be awarding  paid bids and at large bids to the ultimate end of the year championship in Orlando, Florida – The Summit.  We are thrilled to have Columbus as one of the few bid giving events across the country!

We will be offering the following bids:

Cheer Summit : 2 PAID and 8 AT-LARGE BIDS

D2 Summit : 2 PAID and 2 AT-LARGE BIDS

Dance Summit : 1 PAID AND 4 AT-LARGE BIDS

In addition to the great competition come see what Ohio's capital city has to offer.  Four of Columbus' top entertainment areas surround downtown -- meaning you don't have to venture far to have a good time. Next to the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the Arena District is home to the Blue Jackets National Hockey League team, concerts, restaurants and nightclubs. In the neighboring Short North Arts District, you'll find restaurants, galleries, boutiques and nightclubs. South of downtown are the Brewery District and German Village, a historic district with restaurants and shops. One of the largest events in Ohio, we are expecting close to 4,000 athletes to compete for national titles. Mark your calendar now for what many consider the finest national championship in Ohio.

"One of the best competitions of the year. The stage and lighting was amazing and the Athletic staff was "top notch". Thanks for giving KYAS coaches, athletes and parents a "one of a kind" experience!!!"
